Martyn O'Connor

 
CEO & Financial Advisor
Martyn is the CEO of Parkhill Financial Group and is a Senior Financial Advisor for Parkhill Financial Planning. Martyn is also the National Chairman of Young Financial Advisor Network, known as Young Guns. Martyn was born in Canberra in 1981, he has an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and joined the Financial Planning industry in 1999 at the young age of 18. He enjoys playing Hockey and Golf, as well as working on his 11 acre property at Carwoola, 15 minutes from Queanbeyan.

Danielle Coventry

 
Insurance Advisor
Danielle joined the Parkhill team five years ago to head the Financial Planning administration team. Since then Danielle has successfully completed her Diploma in Financial Planning, and now provides specialist Insurance advice to over one thousand professionals and tradesmen in the Canberra region. Danielle’s success is a testament to her strong knowledge of the insurance market, as well as her dedication to excellence. As the former manager of Parkhill’s Financial Planning department, Danielle understands all too well the importance of a professional and personal service, and is passionate about ensuring that her clients receive the best advice for their individual circumstances.

Outside of the office, Danielle’s passion is her show dogs (all twelve of them). Danielle has also represented Australia at Cruffs in England (the largest dog show in the world).

Hugh Percy

Hugh Percy is the General Manager of the Parkhill Financial Group and oversees the operations of Parkhill as a whole. Hugh is experienced in Government relations, business management, human resource management, event management, community consultation, complaint handling and negotiations. Hugh has held a position in Local Government Senior Management for over thirty years. And is the former General Manager of the Queanbeyan City Council, a position which he held for 15 years in addition to 15 years as Deputy Town Clerk. Hugh holds the Town Clerks certificate, Diploma in Business Administration and is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia. He has held position of responsibility on many varied boards and committees within the business and wider community.
 
General Manager

Mike Day

Mike is the Managing Director of Parkhill Accounting and has over 14 years experience in both corporate accounting and in public practice. Being a small business owner for 4 years before merging with Parkhill, Mike is well versed in the daily challenges faced by small business owners.

Mike is client focused and specializes in business and investment structures, small business and superannuation. Mike has been a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants since 1995 and is also a member of the National Tax Accountants Association.

Mike was born in 1972 and is married with a young child; he enjoys sailing.

Keith France

 
Principal Accountant
Keith is a Principal Partner of Parkhill Accounting (formerly France Harrison & Associates), which he & Wal Harrison began with in 1979. Keith was born in Adelaide in 1950. In 1978 he completed a Certificate in Accounting, became a registered Tax agent in 1979 and was awarded a BA (Accounting) from the University of Canberra in 1986. He is a member of the National Institute of Accountants, National Tax and Accountants Association, Tax Practitioners Advisory Group (ATO), Queanbeyan Business Enterprise Centre, is a JP and a Professional National Accountant. Keith is married to Kathy, has 3 sons and lives on 20 acres at Wamboin where he is treasurer of Wamboin Community Association and a member of the Wamboin Rural Fire Brigade. Keith also enjoys photography, travel, Rugby (Brumbies), AFL and Golf and is a member of the Queanbeyan Golf Club.

Wal Harrison

 
Principal Accountant
Wal is a Principal Partner of Parkhill Accounting (formerly France Harrison & Associates), which he and Keith France established over 25 years ago and has been in public practice for 28 years. Wal is a fellow of the National Institute of Accountants and a member of the National Tax and Accountants Association. His role in the Parkhill Group is to develop an accounting practice that offers its clients enhanced benefits through a wider range of services now available through Parkhill, a "one stop financial shop" for both individuals and businesses alike. Wal is an avid supporter of the Canberra Raiders and a long time member and sponsor of the Queanbeyan Golf Club.

Jodie Cameron

An accountant with France Harrison & Associates for 6 years, Jodie Cameron has a Diploma in Accounting and is continuing her education in this field. Jodie is a student member of the National Institute of Accountants.

Jodie specialises in a range of tax related areas. These include servicing small business operators, companies, partnerships, sole traders and trusts. Jodie is skilled in a number of accounting programs especially HandiSoft, MYOB and Cashflow Manager.

In addition to her Tax related proficiency Jodie excels with advice on FBT, Super Funds, Investment Properties & Capital Gains issues.

With her excellent customer relation and technical skills Jodie is highly regarded by her existing clients and sought after by new clients to the business.

Born in the small country town of Harden, Jodie loves spending time with her son, family and friends. Her hobbies include reading and camping.

Bruno Ciancio

Bruno has successfully completed a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Financial Planning and Banking & Financial Services from the University of Canberra. He graduated in December 2007. He is currently studying the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.

With the experience gained as a Paraplanner at a number of Financial Planning practices in Canberra, Bruno brings with him extensive technical knowledge in financial planning, investment management and other related matters. Clients benefit from Bruno’s experience and expertise as well as his personal and professional touch when dealing with them.

Born in Canberra, Bruno enjoys travel, spending time with family and friends and football.

Gaby Hasler

 
Accountant
After many years in teaching and education Swiss born Gaby decided to change career and studied accounting. She now has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Certificate in Small Business Management, completed the Certificate in Professional Accounting at the University of New England and became a member of the National Institution of Accountants.

Gaby joined France Harrison & Associates in 2004. While tax returns and Bas Statements are the main part of work, she has also specialized in conducting audits. The companies approach to be supportive and provide the best possible service to clients is of great importance to her.

In her spare time Gaby is a volunteer Ethnic Broadcaster and treasurer at CMS radio. Speaking four languages was a bonus for Gaby when traveling, one of the activities she enjoys. Other activities Gaby likes are cooking, baking and if time allows gardening.
